research

Trained as both a lawyer and data scientist, I apply advanced data analysis (in R and Python), theoretical models, and experimental methods from the social sciences to address legal questions.

Topics: My research interests span several substantive fields of law: privacy, AI, information law, antidiscrimination law, and legal philosophy.
Methods: I integrate experimental designs with causal inference, machine learning, and text analysis to leverage non-traditional data sources such as images and texts. I follow the principle that converging evidence from multiple methods strengthens empirical legal analysis.
