I'm interested in the law; both normatively (ethically evaluating human behavior) and empirically (explaining and predicting human behavior).
I enjoy thinking about conflicting interests and searching for their (legal) solutions.
In my research, I use methods from psychology, economics, and data science to answer legal questions on privacy, AI, discrimination, and coercion.
In my practice, I provide (free) legal advice in civil and criminal cases.
When I’m not working on legal problems, I enjoy sharing great food, debating politics and philosophy, lifting weights, and climbing mountains.
